Take one of our mini-challenges to try for just one day. Or try a full 7-day “detox” from your smartphones and devices. We’re not talking a complete disconnect, just something to keep you mindful of how much time you can spend on them.
Monday: Turn off your push notifications one day.
Tuesday: Go through your social media and remove the channels that aren’t your real friends.
Wednesday: Unsubscribe from email lists you no longer read.
Thursday: Delete apps you don’t use.
Friday: Resist the urge to look at your phone first thing in the morning or in the presence of others.
Saturday: Go out to dinner and leave your phone at home.
Sunday: Spend a day not looking at or posting to social media.
